We made this modification since 2012 but never get the chance to snap some pictures when the job is done.

Can convert your nautica to 2wd (rwd) just like his brother (toyota rush) if your car doesn't go for offroading / site visit that you have to drive the car away from the tarmac. As long normal town & highway driving there is no problem at all.
Plus you will get some benefit - no more front drive train problem such as broken driveshaft, cv joint boots leaks and soo on.
And this conversion should give another 10% better fuel consumption.
